Player does not display on the page correctly
The player should prompt you if a software update is needed. If the message does not allow you to update click here to open a full page view that will display the message and links correctly. Note: Make sure to close the previous player page or tab.
The player should adjust the quality to your network bandwidth capabiltiy. 700Kbps or more is required for reliable viewing.
Ensure that you don't have a Firewall or network security setting in place which could be blocking Livestream or Akamai playback. To test go to http://livestream.com/watch and look for a live event to view.
VPN tunnels can highly restrict video traffic. If permitted by you company, accessing the link outside of a VPN tunnel may produce better results.
Close programs that are not in use and avoid file transfers while watching the webcast. If quality degrades when in full screen view, return to normal view.
If you are on a wireless connection try switching to a wired connection, or move closer to the wireless router for a stronger signal.
The player audio can be access when hovering the mouse over the player. Make sure player was not accidentally muted.
Play a audio clip or song stored on you system. If you find no or low sound, look at both the physical buttons on the system and software system settings.
If you can, play a video (with audio) from a familiar website. If you have low or no volume, check the system audio settings(Windows) for the browser.
If you hear an echo, look for another tab or browser that may have the player page open.
